CHAUSIE

The Chausie is large cat. They have very strong and muscular, statesque but graceful body. Their legs are long, and the tail is three-quarter of body length. Their head is somewhat small compared to the body size and is on the end of long and sleek neck. Their ears are large and they have thick tufts similar to those of wild cats, and are placed high on the head. Although they are just three generations from a wild cat, they are good natured and sweet. But very active and playful. They still have their hunting instincts and big powerful claws especially seen with Chausie kittens, so it is recommendable to keep them occupied most of the time.

ORIGIN: A Chausie is a hybrid of the domestic cat and Felis chaus , the Jungle Cat . Their distance form original Jungle cat is marked as F1, F2, F3, and F4. Males F1 to F4 are usually sterile so they cannot be used for mating, but females can. They are usually crossbred with Abyssinian, because their look is not so different, except for the size.
