JAVANESE
The Javanese is a recognized breed of cat . Javanese have a long, silky coat, that comes in a variety of colors. These cats are highly intelligent, and resemble the Balinese in every way, but there is more to them. Their body is elegant, sometimes fragile in appearance, but hard and muscular with surprising strength. The slender lines and flowing coat hide a rock hard body capable of amazing feats of acrobatic proportions. Javanese are very social cats which will become depressed if they are left alone too often. They are generally very playful pets, and are markedly good at jumping. However, they do have a tendency to become overweight if they do not receive adequate exercise. Javanese are also quite vocal, and most will "talk" gently reminding when you are late with meals or play time, joyously greeting you whenever you have been away, and sometimes for no particular reason. Very intelligent, so expect them to inspect entire house very soon. Every drawer, every cabinet, every box will be opened unless you lock them. They are sometimes called “lazy man's longhair” because they don't shed as much as Siamese.
ORIGIN: They were created with selective breeding of Balinese, Siamese and domestic shorthair with specific
colors.
